BEN GARROD PAINTING AND DECORATING

I have been working in painting and decorating since 2006. Coming from a fine art background, I started out working for a decorators merchant in Bath. It was there that I began building an extensive knowledge of decorating materials and techniques. From 2007 to 2010 I worked for various decorators in the Bath area, putting in to practice what I had learned before while finding out the importance of deep and thorough surface preparation.

In 2010 I relocated to London where I carried on decorating, working for agencies while continuing my fine art practice. My dissatisfaction with the low standards expected on the sites the agencies sent me to led me to go it alone. I built up a solid base of repeat customers; mainly householders, with a few businesses, as well as art galleries, and a contractor working in the museums/exhibitions sector.

I came back to the South West a couple of years ago where I have primarily been painting houses. I really love to turn a room around, and take pride in achieving a perfect finish on time. All quotes are tailored to the customer's budget and requirements with a clear breakdown of tasks and cost.
